Below is a Friday feature called Tip of the Week. This week's tip was

Tip of the Week 12-27-96
The Pastors Support 1
This one may be hard to do but I have found great blessing in it. A
church planter should never have a standard of living above the average
of his congregation. I know the Scriptures say the man of God should be
worthy of double honor. But the honor is to be bestowed and not
extracted. I have found that the admonition of our Lord in Luke 14:8-10
has great application in our lives as planters. If the folks see
sacrifice in our lives for the Lord and a willingness to "do without",
they will be motivated to do likewise for the Lord. We cannot out give
or out do God. If we take the lowest seat in lowliness of mind,
esteeming others better than ourselves in love to God, He will bless
openly and continue to move mountains in our behalf...that's what
happening in Kingsland! God bless you all.
