Take a Mentor
Every pastor should have a pastor. Whether it is your home pastor or some
other mentor you can turn to and open up with honesty. Accountability and
counsel are important weapons in the battle against emotional enemies.
Many times in tough pastoral situations I have sought counsel not only from
my mentor but other learned pastors in my area. The answers you need are
in the years of experience they posses. Many church planters have not
finished the job God called them to because they were too prideful to ask
for help. Mentors are there for the help but you must "take" one you trust
and respect.
