Tip of the Week 5-17-96
Prayer Letter
Get some decent looking stationary for your church. Then each month
mail a positive prayer letter to every BBF church in your state. As you
win people to Christ, have a high attendance, baptize someone or add
anyone to the membership, give praise to God in this letter. This will
accomplish two things if the pastor of the church shares it with his
people. 1) People will be praying for your needs, the baby church and
the baby christians in your church. 2) When they see that you are
seriously working to see a church planted they may begin to support you
financially. The $20 or so a month will easily be recouped in prayers
and support.
