How to be an example
to your people - 4
Be cheerful and positive. Of all the examples that we need to be
before our people this one will set the tone of worship, instruction, and
growth. I will confess that sometimes it is a real struggle to "put on a
happy face" on Sunday morning (especially when only 10 or so show up) Many
will say that when I do, despite my grumpy mood, I am faking it. I don't
agree. I believe the Bible teaches us to rejoice in the Lord alway and as
if it were not enough, he says again to rejoice. I am "faithing" it, not
faking it. By faith I crucify my negative attitude and raise the spirit of
positive praise in Christ, believing by faith that God is in control.
