Flyer Inserts
How about putting flyers in the local "Shopper's Guide" or "Penny Saver"
(it is called by different names everywhere)? Our goal is to put a tract
in every home in Oshkosh, WI. That is hard to do in and through the
winters up here. I designed a easy to read flyer with church times,
ministries, a note from the pastor, and plan of salvation. The shopper is
delivered to every home in the county. Here, it costs only $32 per 1000
inserts. We have a 8 1/2 X 11 flyer printed on two sides.
I started sending 1,000 flyers per month last month. We have approximately
7000 more homes to reach. It is not like going door to door, but it is an
inexpensive way to reach people. To mail the flyers would cost $32 per 100
unless you have a permit. I have talked to others recently that have done
similar and have received some good results. We can reach people faster
and use it as a PR tool. In doing so, we are not just working hard we are
also working smart. It pays to make the best use of your manpower.
