Door-to-Door Prospecting Part 1

Get a copy of either Polk's directory, or a CD based phone book listing
for your area, Select Phone is an excellent one.

Mail a letter to about 25 homes along a street, each week (or even every
other week, etc). Tell them you would like to stop by on Tuesday
evening (whatever), just to say hello and see if there is anything you
or your church can do for them, now or in the future. Leave them with a
brochure or your church, bookmark or something, and a tract.

Those who are responsive to your initial visit, add to your mailing list
and continue to mail letters to this prospect list, keeping in touch on
a regular basis. Dr. Robberson said the only way you got off his list
was to die but I will remove them if they specifically ask to be
removed. I have mailed to folks for 3 years and they finally came and
got saved.
